Fortify Construction Co has been a longtime dream of two Idaho natives. Thanks to the education and training of one of the best civil construction firms in the nation, the executives of Fortify Construction have acquired processes and procedures that give our company an edge over its competition. This experience provides our clients with comfort throughout the building process knowing that the company they have in their corner is founded upon proven construction practices.

Although Chet genuinely enjoyed working for an established company and Chet and Kristi appreciated the stability of that job, they wanted to get back to their Idaho roots. They began to feel that the time was nearing for them to step into the dark and begin their lifelong dream of owning their own home building business.

After living in multiple states, the last of which was Texas, Chet and Kristi were blessed with an amazing opportunity. Chet was working 60-70 hour work weeks for his civil construction firm and Kristi owned and was operating an established business, while raising their six children. They somehow didn’t feel like they had enough to do, so they subdivided their 2.5 acre property in Georgetown, TX and decided to build a home on the second lot. While this added more to their plates, Chet and Kristi quickly realized how much they loved building homes. They decided it was finally time to get back to their home state, the great state of Idaho, and start their business!

As Chet and Kristi have worked with an increasing number of customers and helped them experience the joy and excitement of building their own homes, they know they are where they are meant to be. So many of life’s cherished moments are tied to the places we call home; where traditions are born, memories are made, and legacies are passed on to future generations. Chet and Kristi believe they are not just helping people build their dream homes, but through the structures they build, they are helping families establish traditions and lasting legacies.
